OK, so a guy wrote a book and that’s basically the proof that US will attack? In the meanwhile Russian media threatens to strike/bomb/nuke/whatever european nations weekly. And is actively attacking a sovereign nation.
Weird, but I guess our world views differ quite a bit. I would personally prefer no war, but definitely understand european willingness to spend money on weapons, just like Russia is doing. We also completely suck at manufacturing, so even matching Russia’s manufacturing capabilities will take years.
EU basically assumed/hoped there would be no war and stopped spending on military for decades. Now war is here and it sure as hell was not caused by us.

Nor am I. I already said what the US wants. Don’t assume that what the US publicly says it wants is what it actually wants. The US said it wanted to stop Saddam Hussein from turning “a smoking gun” into a “mushroom cloud”, and that kicked off 20 years of wars based on lies.

Russia also says the sky is blue. Does that make it false? I already explained—using exclusively Western sources, not Russian propaganda—that the US has been toeing & crossing Russia’s red lines since the 1990s. It wanted to use Ukraine as a pawn, a proxy, to provoke and fight its war for it, to weaken—and ideally to regime change, Balkanize, and plunder—Russia. The US never gave a shit about Ukrainian lives any more than Palestinian ones. Ukraine is a vassal of US empire. It meddled in Ukraine’s 2004 election and orchestrated a coup with Banderite fascists in 2014. It never cared about Ukraine’s sovereignty. As I said, the US does this kind of thing all the time.
