If someone’s tone changes slightly or is more snippy/aggressive, I assume they hate me and it really makes me upset. I also can’t let it go when someone insults me or says something out of anger.

I’m sorry, man. I am very similar. I have difficulties with my supervisor and another one of my coworkers because they are often snippy, even without meaning to be. I don’t have any advice, but I feel you. I just wish people would be nice.
