They even ban people for saying “Slava Ukraini”? I wonder what rules this breaks… I guess for them, supporting the victims of genocide is supporting the Nazis.

“Everything I don’t like breaks rule 1.”

Vibe moderation.

My guy, this whole post is about boycotting .ml after this sore loser got a 30 day suspension.

How are you going to boycott a place you are upset you can’t post in? You’re like a bunch of abusive exes

Open your damn eyes and look around, they are being boycotted not because of one blocked user, but because of their support for authoritarian regimes and genocide denial.

they are being boycotted

They’re not. You’re having a temper tantrum, but it’s having no impact on traffic.

Ah, being against authoritarians and those who denies genocide is now tantrum, of course.

being against authoritarians

Big Government Authoritarianism is when you administer a message board incorrectly.

Brief extract from /c/capitalismindecay’s Greatest Hits:

[T]he OUN-B employed the fascist salute of raising the right arm “slightly to the right, slightly above the peak of the head” while calling “Glory to Ukraine!” (Slava Ukraïni!), the response to which was “Glory to the Heroes!” (Heroiam Slava!).⁸²

[…]

Among the organizations whose members went over to the OUN was the League of Ukrainian Fascists (Soiuz ukraïns’kykh fashystiv, SUF), which [adopted] the [proto]fascist greeting “Glory to Ukraine!” (Slava Ukraïni!).

Funnily enough, the reports as of this very week (July 13–19) are about Kyiv’s authoritarianism. Here is one example from an infamously pro-Kremlin source:

Shabunin told the Financial Times: “Zelenskyy is using my case to send a message to two groups that could pose a threat to him. The message is this: if I can go after Shabunin publicly — under the scrutiny of the media and despite public support — then I can go after any one of you.”

“The first group are journalists or activists exposing corruption,” he added. “The second group is military personnel. Because the charges against me relate to my military service.”

It’s a shame that Kyiv hasn’t used its authoritarianism to root out the heterosexists and cissexists in its forces:

Zinkevich is also affiliated with the Lviv-based neo[fascist] organization “Galician Youth,” which intimidates LGBT people, pays homage to the Galicia Division of the Waffen-SS, and distributed antisemitic fliers in the year before the full-scale war with Russia.

Following MeanwhileOnGrad’s own illogic, they’re all authoritarians and raging heterosexist cissexists for preferring Ukraine over the Russian Federation, even if they insist that they really aren’t!

they are being boycotted […] because of their support for authoritarian regimes and genocide denial.

Oh, you mean like how everybody has been rejecting sh.itjust.works for its own war crime deniers and support for authoritarian régimes (such as… oh, I don’t know… Kyiv)?

Don’t be fucking boneheaded.

Not server admins job to police speech. Mods of communities can decide their rules. Please contact your communities mods and request ban and let them follow their rules. Uninterested in local communities drama. Please dont tag me again.

Reach out to your mods who can run it up the chain. I run the backend of the server and talk to other admins, not random netizens. They deleted the evidence so they have to provide it if there is a bigger problem.

Edit: Evidence was provided by an admin and user was banned subsequently due to evidence review and found to be egregious.

If you don’t want to get tagged when a user you platform advocates genocide you should not be an admin.

Also that is literally your only fucking job.

“Don’t tag me again if users advocate genocide in my instance because I’m lazy as fuck and don’t wanna do my job”.

Literally the same energy as a angrily-divorced retail manager. Except I can respect that one way more.

Love the “don’t tag me again” line. I’m sorry but if someone from your instance is advocating genocide I will tag you. Don’t like it, don’t be an admin then.
