I love SG0 more than the original series, because it elevated the original even more. Also, I find the Sad Scientist a more compelling character.

On another note, I liked Okabe x Kurisu on its own after I watched the OG, but SG0 made me like Okabe x Mayuri better.

    I’m in the same boat as an anime only and feel like I was taking crazy pills. All my friends watched it and loved it, but I had so many issues with it and felt like the tone and feel of the show was so far removed from the original I couldn’t bring myself to like it. Outside of maybe the last few episodes, it just overall seemed mediocre in every sense and I don’t understand what the hype was for it?

      Surprisingly it’s a pretty well liked show it seems.
      When it was releasing I thought the chatter around it portrayed it as “not that great”(& but from posts I have seen online and its MAL score it is well liked.
